Old Business:
Update on grant for lower park - Melissa/Brittney
Brittney took the DCNR work shop training class on the computer. Basically the grant funds will not be available until 2023.
Melissa said she had a visit from the Pittsburgh Foundation. They came out and looked at the lower part and the upper park on our projects. I received a business card from them. Peoples Gas has a large grant also. This upcoming year we will apply through the Ligonier Foundation for smaller projects at the parks in the mean time.
Brittney talked about several other grant opportunities she is looking at.
Update on Rippy Party
We have a date set. Just need to get the tickets made. The date is February 19, 3-7 pm at Legion. Getting 150 tickets made. $5 per ticket and give (5) chances at door. Have easy foods.
If someone wants to donate baskets we will do a roll off ticket as well. We can use basket party tickets or just use individual tickets for donation of $5. Aaron said he found a location to get tickets that is cheaper than anywhere else.
No other old business.

Oct 22 fun day and hayrides . Brittney suggested to get the fire hall involved by having craft vendors in the Fire Hall. Do a fun run and vendor 11-2 or 11-3 going right into the pumpkin carving, and then into the Legion for a movie.
We will see also if we can get Misty Haven for the event.
December - 17th Santa visit and also sleigh rides. 4-6 pm
Aaron wondered where we get the money for movies. He thought we were just dumping money out on them. Pat and Melissa both said movies is part of our fundraising events at the beginning of the year.
It would bring more people into the town.
Aaron said he would take it to a meeting. Aaron said if you want to come down to a meeting you can come down any time and do a public comment. Dec 13th is the next meeting.
Christmas goody bags ( how many to make and cost limit.)
Melissa no more than $100 Pat asked if Jim was still going to be Santa this year. Was told yes. Melissa said she will make the treat bags. She can get stuff from Sams club. They will be getting bags from the Legion the night before also. Melissa will also talk to K & K to see if they are willing to do the Hot chocolate.
If they are not willing to do it then I will do from the store again. Michelle asked how much we go through of hot chocolate on one of those things. Melissa explains usually 3 large pots of hot chocolate. Discussion made on the type of containers, insulated or not. Michelle to possibly see if she could bring several home from work for the event.

Aaron said let's see what the Rippy party does whether to do another one later in the year.
Pat said we are working on the decorations on the poles. Melissa said next Saturday it is supposed to be nice. We can go up and set up the park then.
Pat said we still need more candy canes and if I can find them I will be getting. They are only $3 instead of $15 for wreaths.
