The right to erect poles
Section I. Be it ordained and enacted by the Town Council of the Borough of Bolivar, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and it is hereby ordained and enacted by the authority of the same, that the privilege be and is hereby granted The Central District & Printing Telegraph Company to erect and maintain such poles in and upon the several streets of the aforesaid Borough at may be necessary for the erecting and constructing lines of telegraph and telephone wires through the said Borough of Bolivar to the places of business, works, manufacturing establishments, offices and houses of subscribers within the Borough limits for telegraph and telephone purposes.
Section II. That the poles to be erected under this ordinance shall be located under the direction of the burgess of the Borough of Bolivar.
Section III. That it is hereby expressly understood and agreed between the aforesaid Borough and the Central District and Printing Telegraph Company that the privileges heretofore granted by the former are given in consideration of the letter agreeing for itself its successors and assigns, that when the said Borough shall adopt a fire alarm telegraph, the said, the Central District and Printing Telegraph Company, shall permit the wires of the fire alarm to be run on the poles of said company, without charge, within the Borough aforesaid.
Section IV. That any Ordinance, or part of Ordinance, conflicting with the provisions of this Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed so far as the same effects this Ordinance.
Ordained and Enacted into a law this sixth (6) day of July 1896.
