An Ordinance of Bolivar Borough, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania Imposing and Making it Unlawful for any Person to Loiter on or about the Public Streets, Alleys, or Other Public Places in the Borough of Bolivar, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania at Night After Specified Hours:
Whereas the Council of the Borough of Bolivar, Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, has determined that for the maintenance of peace, good order, preservation, of property and good government as well as for the safety and welfare of the Borough , persons in the Borough with a legitimate interest and public property in said Borough is required that it take appropriate action to impose a curfew on all persons less than the age of 18, present in said Borough and loitering on and about public streets, alleys, and other public places in said Borough.
Now Therefore be it Ordained.
1. That on and after the effective date of this Ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person under the age of 18 to congregate or loiter in or about public streets, alleys, or other public places in the borough of Bolivar after the hours of 10 P.M. on Sunday through Thursdays and after the hours of 12:00 P.M. on Fridays , Saturdays, and during summer school vacation.
2. For purposes of this Ordinance the term loiter shall mean to pause or remain in a congregation of two (2) or more at a particular public place for any greater length of time than is necessary to transverse said place and en route to or from a dwelling or other building within the Borough of Bolivar engaging in activity in which said person has a legitimate family in said interest.
3. For purpose of the Ordinance public place shall include in addition to Borough property and public streets and alleys, these buildings which through privately owned by an organization are prominently used for the gathering of people and when not so used or not occupied by any person.
This Ordinance shall be in addition to any existing Curfew Ordinance of the Borough and in so far as there is any conflict between said Ordinance, they shall be countered to give effect to all of the Ordinance.
4. Any person who violates the provisions of this Ordinance shall upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding before a District Magistrate pay a fine of twenty-five ($25.00) and costs of the proceedings and in default there of shall suffer imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days.
5. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after final passage.

"I hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was duly enacted and approved as set forth in a regular meeting held on February 7, 1083 and after approval is set forth was advertised in the Ligonier Echo January 26, 1093 a newspaper of general circulation in the Borough.
