Approval of March minutes
Motion made to approve March minutes made by Jessica 2nd by Brittany Hughes all in favor motion passed.
Approval of treasurer report for March
Pat said you now have a new April report as of today date. Had to add several items to report.
Brittany asked if the $33,797.76 was the final total of funds in account. Pat said yes.
After review motion made by Jessica, 2nd by Brittany Miller to approve Treasurer report, all in favor motion passed.
Old Business
1. Letters for sponsorship update
Mellissa said she sent out a 2nd round of letters to sponsors from last year. Mellissa said we get what we get. She said S & T bank, Somerset Trust, Montgomery Scott, and Covington Investments have given several years now and nothing this year.
Pat said we did not get anything from IRMC even after we sent them a letter and vendor app paperwork. Pat said that Heather responded back to me when I sent her the paperwork.
Brittany asked if we got the money from Beveity as of yet. Brittany checked our account and it said the funds are showing.
2. Update on letters for Vendors for Brickfest
Pat said she just picked up The Little Church on the Hill for 2 spots. That gives us 6 spots.
Brittany asked about the coffee lady who did not show up last year. Pat said she will reach out to her again for a spot. Mellissa said she sent letters to the Ligonier shops. Haven't heard anything from them either.
Pat said she also sent 2nd letters to the wine vendors and haven't heard from them either.
3. Update on Comedy show April 12
Pat said she has 37 that have paid in advance. Brittany said she told several people to just pay at the door.
Jessica said part of the problem is the cash bash in New Florence, Bar Bingo in Robinson.
Mellissa said she has 16. Pat said that takes it up to 53.
Brittany asked what time the comedians were showing up. Pat said she spoke to Mike and he knows what time the show starts. He did say they would be there between 6 and 7 PM. He is also bringing their own system.
Mellissa said she spoke to John. He wanted to know when pull tickets came to play. He claimed he knew nothing about that. Mellissa said she spoke to him personally and he had no problem with them at the time.
Jessica said she did not know we were doing pull tickets. Thought it was just the 50/50 tickets.
John said he would pull several packs of tickets for us.
Pat said the tables are also not set up so we need to go down and set them up.
Discussion was made and decided to go down around 8 PM to set tables up on Friday..
Food final decision was chips, pretzels, soda and water along with each of us making desserts.
4. Update on ticket going off May 25th $10 for 500 to sell
Sue asked for 10 tickets to sell and Brittany asked for 20 tickets to sell.
Pat said we will also try to sell at comedy night.
5. Update on gun bash at Legion.
Mellissa said she wasn't calling anyone until she heard back from Brittany on the gun bash guy.
6. Update on Beef Stick Sales.
Jessica said they are selling. Right now we have 334 turned in with funds. We only needed $83. to break even. Pat said Jessica just gave her $52 more dollars so only need $37 more to break even.
7. Update on subs and pizza fundraiser
Mellissa said she has a $50 donation from an individual rather than buy a sub.
Mellissa said CJ took his sub sheet to work and requested more sheets for purchases

New Business:
Sponsorship signs are in.
Pat brought out the signs and showed everyone. We can use for any event since they do not have an event or date.
Mellissa said during Brickfest we should put all the sponsor signs up. We have 2 signs each. If any other sponsorship funds come in we can get them made. Pat to hold off for a little bit to see if any more funds come in.
Any other business to discuss.
Pat said she got a call from the Little Church on the Hill asking about which park they reserved. Pat said the upper park is for them. She wanted the electric on to use roasters at concession stand and also the stage for music. They are also doing an Easter Egg hunt and said it will be a Hugh event.
Brittany said her husband would like to plant some trees at the lower playground. He said he also is going to trim some of the trees down there.
Mellissa said she does not have a problem with buying some trees.
Monday the Amish are coming to meet Brittany at the ball field to fix the pavilion. He quoted around $4000. We got $3000 grant for this. We would like a metal roof, keep the posts and concrete slab.
Discussion was made on possibly having kids do photos on the concrete and then we can seal it.
Mellissa said she talked to MaKrae from the Pittsburgh Foundation and there is some funds floating around for us possibly $5 or $6 thousand.
Mellissa asked if we did a time capsule from the Sesquicentennial.
Also we got a letter from the Fire Dept saying they were going to do an ornament.
So rather that use the fire dept she is asking to do an ornament with LaMantia's this year.
Everyone agreed to do LaMantia's this year.
Next year is PA's 250 Anniversary. She was speaking to Cathy Griffith and came up with this idea of putting a flag in everyone's yard.
Pat asked Brittany about moving the shed from Monica's house to the park. No decision was made on the move date as of yet.
Brittany Hughes asked about a piece of playground equipment for the upper park. Brittany Miller said she has a photo on her phone she can pass around to possibly getting for the upper park.
Discussion was made to possibly have the metal sand blasted and then painted at the upper park.
She spoke to Youngs's however they do not come out to do.
Nothing else to discuss.
