Termination of Police Officer

At a Special Meeting of the full Council of the Borough of Bolivar held on November 16, 1984, the following Resolution was presented for Adoption and Approved

Resolved: That Whereas, Bolivar Borough hired David Garner as a part time patrolman on June 4, 1984 and

Whereas, continuation of said part time employment was conditioned on a probationary period of (6) six months and,

Whereas, it is the sense of Council that an unsatisfactory working relationship has been established during probationary period and both by reason of various statements made by said officer to his immediate supervisor, the Mayor and by reason of certain actions taken by said officer when not on duty which might be construed as official duty which in the opinion of Council constitutes conduct unbecoming of an officer.

Now therefore, Be It Resolved that Mayor Bella is hereby authorized and directed by the Council of the Borough of Bolivar to terminate any further employment of Officer David Gardner.
