Sealed bids for the 2020 Storm Water Improvement Project (Bolivar Borough) will be received by the Borough of Bolivar until 2:00 PM, local prevailing time on April 2, 2020. Proposals can be mailed to P.O. Box C, Bolivar PA 15923 C/O Ron Betts, Street Commissioner, or hand delivered to the Borough Building located at 622 Washington Street, Bolivar PA 15923. Post Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM M-F, and 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM on Saturday. Borough Office hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Envelopes shall be marked conspicuously with "BID". The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 7:00 PM on April 2, 2020 at the Bolivar Borough Building.
Work will consist of the repair of one inlet and replacement of seven stormwater inlets at six locations within the Borough. Associated work components include but are not limited to: drainage pipes, concrete forming, sidewalk repair, curb repair, installation of ADA curb ramps and concrete and bituminous patching/paving.
The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Bolivar Borough.
